An assortment of 'bullying' dustmen have left a daughter heartbroken upon seeing CCTV footage of them deliberately barricading her parents' car in with black bins.

A daughter of an elderly couple has described being left heartbroken after callous dustbin collectors blocked in her parent's family car when working their round in Chadderton, Oldham (Greater Manchester).

The CCTV footage, complete with audio, shows one of the men pointing and shouting "Block that f**king car in" to his teammates as they walk up a side road, past the perfectly legally parked Toyota Yaris to collect the black bins.

The footage was captured just the day after bin collectors were praised for their continued work throughout the coronavirus pandemic, reports the Daily Mirror.

Speaking to reporters of the footage after it was discovered, the couples' daughter (who wishes not to be named) said:

"My mum and dad are just fed up with it, but they just deal with it. They don't want to make a fuss, but I think it's bullying.

"My dad works until midnight every night and he has to go out and move all the bins.

"Why should he have to do that? It breaks my heart. It really upsets me.

"I just think it's disgusting. "

The problems have spanned more than a decade in various ways according the couple. But more recently it's becoming more and more noticable.

The daughter explained:"It started when they left two or three bins behind the car, so we asked them if there was any chance they could leave them round the back.

"Since then it happens about once every four to six weeks - it's become a recurring thing.

"It seems like it's personal, it's just 'Eff you, we'll put them where we want'."

Oldham Council were contacted and responded positively to the incident, citing: "This is clearly unacceptable behaviour.

"We’ll be interviewing the staff involved in line with the council’s disciplinary procedures.

"Officers have visited the address and have apologised to the resident."
