A woman added peas to a Full English Breakfast and thought it would go down well with others on social media. She was wrong.
'Jessica M' sent in a picture of her ready-to-eat Full English Breakfasts to popular Twitter and Facebook account, Rate My Plate, in the hope she would impress with her well-cooked sausage, great looking eggs, hash browns, beans, gammon(???), toast and peas.
Wait, what? PEAS? PEAS?!?!?!?!
Hang on, just let me cool down. PEAS??!?!?! WHO HAS PEAS ON A FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST?!
It's safe to say I'm not the only one who had to triple take this picture to see if A) I was going mad, B) I was being trolled and C) to clarify there are ACTUAL PEAS on that Full English Breakfast.
The replies to the tweet were as expected for such blasphemy.
Dr. Sh*tneck69 questioned whether Jessica was withholding a secret based on her breakfast choice, citing: "How many dead bodies are in your garage?", while Gow Davie compared the meal to "prison food".
Birdseye's official Twitter account saw the funny side to the post of the odd meal, which has garnered over 1,500 interactions to date - mostly negative.
They quote tweeted the post and wrote: "We admit that peas in an English breakfast is a bit rogue, but we also admire the attempt at making it healthy. Thoughts? #PEAS".
