A bin collector was left red faced and fuming after a bin on his round literally got up and ran away, leaving him chasing a lost cause.
The clip first aired in April 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic lockdown, meaning the bin collectors were even less on edge to encounter such a bizarre event. It's funny isn't it? A bin running away. Great to see.
The stunt happened in Daventry, Northamptonshire, courtesy of Martin Fretter who cut holes in the bin and hid his 12 year old son Nathan inside.
Nathan was told to sit tight until the bin collector approached before jumping up and legging it, much to the amusement of onlookers who were locked up in their homes to keep safe from coronavirus as per the government's rules
The youngster had a slit eyehole to watch undetected and leg and arm holes to stop him from being cramped inside the blue lidded black bin.
Fretter, who was a bin collector himself for 25-years said of the viral clip: "' always try to make people laugh and I like do zany things with my kids."

A neighbour recorded the video - where you can hear the shocked and furious bin collector yell "You f*cking tw*t, f*ck sake!" as the bin grows legs and makes off - and shared it with Martin who uploaded it to facebook with with the caption: 'Please go clap for your local binmen.'
